Bernhard van Oranje commissioner at Jitscale

Jitscale, an international outsourcing partner for business critical IT infrastructures, has announced that Bernhard van Oranje has joined its Supervisory Board. Former Secretary of State and Minister Vermeend already accepted a commissionership at Jitscale at the end of June. Jitscale is an internationally oriented IT company with offices in the Netherlands and the United States. The company is specialized in designing, organizing, managing and optimizing a wide range of business critical IT infrastructures. Jitscale’s activities are technology and infrastructure independent and the company offers a wide range of complete solutions based on its customers’ specific business needs.

With its management services Jitscale offers guaranteed operation and performance of customer applications. In doing so,  Jitscale takes full responsibility for the application, database and operating system layer as well as the entire underlying infrastructure. This way, it creates future-proof platforms based on the client’s business needs.

Bernhard van Oranje has been recognized as a successful IT-entrepreneur for years. He co-founded the company Clockwork and he recently successfully launched Levi9 Global Sourcing, a large IT near shore provider. Jitscale’s request for accession to the Supervisory Board to this successful IT entrepreneur is therefore completely in line with the company’s activities and ambitions.

Bernhard van Oranje: “Jitscale is a company that is raising its profile both nationally and internationally and that has been breaking new ground in various fields. For example, it is the first company worldwide to offer Cloud-over-Cloud management services with an ISO/IEC 27001-certification. I expect to be able to contribute to Jitscale with my knowledge, skills and contacts and help them continue their success story.”

Eelco van Beek, Jitscale CEO: “With Willem Vermeend and Bernhard van Oranje we do not only add two names of stature to our team, but we also add proven successes. Undoubtedly, the new commissioners will give our company an enormous boost. We are very proud that these prominent figures have agreed to help Jitscale achieve our huge ambitions.”

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...

The only way to get CICD to work in a highly secure environment takes collaboration, patience and persistence. Building CICD in the cloud requires rigorous ar...
Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.

To get the most out of their data, successful companies are not focusing on queries and data lakes, they are actively integrating analytics into their operations with a data-first application development approach. Large industrial manufacturing organizations are adopting the agile principles of cloud software companies. The industrial manufacturing development process has not scaled over time. Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters across multiple teams is even harder. Kubernetes offers several constructs to help implement segmentation and isolation. However, these primitives can be complex to understand and apply. As a result, it’s becoming common for enterprises to end up with several clusters. Thi...
