CNRFID and NRFLab Collaborate to Offer Electronic Product Code (EPC) Compliant UHF RFID Tag Tests

RFID Tag Developers and Users Benefit From Neutral Platform, Option Comparisons

ROUSSET, FRANCE and SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, FRANCE -- (Marketwire) -- 10/01/12 -- The French National RFID Centre (CNRFID), the national organization dedicated to RFID solutions deployment, and NRFLab, a company specialized in testing active and passive RF components, today announced their collaboration and ability to offer neutral testing of ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and early comparisons of different EPC tag-compliant options.

As a result of the collaboration, RFID UHF solutions developers can access CNRFID's expertise and network, and use NRFLab's UHF RFID test platform to compare and choose the best solutions for their applications before further development or production. CNRFID offers RFID providers, users, integrators, and laboratories an independent resource and a dedicated environment for their specific RF testing needs. NRFLab provides an Electronic Product Code (EPC) Class 1 generation 2 RFID tag-compliant, test platform for UHF RFID tags.
