"It is a privilege to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Anita Borg Institute," said Wieck. I look forward to contributing to these initiatives and working closely with this great team."

In addition to Wieck, ABI also appointed Peter Griffiths to its Board of Trustees. As a Group

Griffiths earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Brighton University in England.

"Greater involvement of women in technology is an incredibly important factor in driving growth and development in the IT industry and society at large. This is not just an issue for women, but something that requires engagement from everyone -- at all levels," said Griffiths.
