Easy Selects JDA Intactix Knowledge Base Solution

JDA® Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS), The Supply Chain Company®, today announced that Easy, a South American chain of home improvement stores and JDA customer since 2008, selected JDA® Intactix Knowledge Base (IKB) in the second quarter of 2012 to integrate and centralize store-level planograms to help drive customer satisfaction and greater profitability. The JDA IKB solution was selected after an extensive competitive selection process.

Easy, a subsidiary of Cencosud (NYSE: CNCO), the largest retail company in Chile, is a leading home improvement company in South America. The company has 82 branches in South America, 30 in Chile, 39 Easy and 9 Blaisten in Argentina and 4 in Colombia.

JDA® IKB is a powerful relational data repository that enables organizations to effortlessly manage retail planograms, fixtures, floorplans, store/cluster data, product attributes and performance information. Robust analysis and reporting capabilities enable you to quickly ascertain insights into complex profitability questions. Automated processes and wide-scale access to centralized data simplifies database administration and maintenance.

Easy will use the JDA® IKB solution in tandem with their existing JDA® Space and Category Management deployments of JDA® Space Planning and JDA® Efficient Item Assortment solutions.
