LONDON, November 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Bodog88.com, the Bodog brand's Asian facing business, has, in the last 12 months, launched its own Live Dealer studio, expanded from 150 to 850 employees and also inked its first B2B deals in both casino and poker software. Based and licenced in Manila, Philippines, Bodog88 is one of a number of online gaming brands who have offices in this increasingly important city for the industry. Other companies also in Manila include; SportingBet, William Hill, Playtech, Unibet, Betsson and Ladbrokes.
Bodog Nation, headed by ex-Pentasia consultant, Jade Forlani will now also have its Head Quarters in Manila. Jade explains why:
"The growth of both opportunity and talent over here is phenomenal and it made sense for us to move our head office here as this was where we were doing most our recruiting. Only a few months ago the biggest part of the job was selling Manila as a destination. We will still focus heavily on showcasing this great city but as competitors also begin to discover it we felt we needed to up our game and be in a position to offer the best packages possible as well as offering real local knowledge which, as I am now a resident, I feel in a much better position to do."
Calvin Ayre, founder of the Bodog brand, added: "It's been a long time since I can remember any city having such a buzz around it in this industry, especially one that's embracing its position as an iGaming centre, similar to the way the UK did a while back. Manila has always had a lot to offer in terms of nightlife and fun but now has fantastic career opportunities to make it become a truly cosmopolitan city."
