Senninger Hosts 50th Anniversary Reception

-Customers, suppliers, team members & friends join global irrigation company, celebrating 50 years in business-

CLERMONT, Fla., Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Senninger Irrigation Inc. kicked off its 50th anniversary year with an industry reception on Sunday, November 4, 2012 after the Irrigation Association Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Approximately 225 longstanding customers, suppliers, team members, media representatives and friends who have played a key role in Senninger's growth attended.

James Burks, president of Senninger Irrigation, thanked everyone in attendance for their continued trust and support over the years. "This night is about you—our vendors, customers—you have made all this happen and we are so appreciative," said Burks. "We've always been a company that focuses—day in and day out—on relationships, which is the foundation of our success." He went on to thank Mark and Andy Healy, who took over the company after its original founder, Joe Senninger, passed away in 1970. Burks said, "Andy and Mark recognized early on the values and principles that the business needed to be built upon, and they stuck with that for 50 years."

Guests enjoyed hors d'oeurves and beverages as a commemorative video played, chronicling the story of how Joe Senninger—founder of Senninger Irrigation—created a solution to a common problem for growers: the Insect-Proof™ Sprinkler. Several customers and friends were featured in the video, sharing about their relationship with the company and how it has made a real difference in their lives and business.
