CGI Selected for US$65 Million Single-Award ID/IQ to Modernize the Navy's Nationwide Recruiting System

Work will enable secure mobile recruiting through CGI's biometrics solution

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/27/12 -- The U.S. Navy Recruiting Command has awarded CGI Federal Inc. (CGI), a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. (NYSE:GIB) (TSX:GIB.A), a single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract to deliver technology support for the service's recruiting and accessions system. The five-year ID/IQ has a total ceiling of US$65 million.

Under the vehicle, CGI will help streamline the Navy's recruiting systems and enable mobile recruiting for recruiters across the country. The work will include system integration, development, and maintenance for various technology systems. CGI's proprietary biometrics solution will also ensure trusted security credential processing and secure identity and access management.
