The Lifetime Achievement Award was also given to Dato' Hussamuddin bin Hj Yaacub, Chairman and CEO of Karangkraf Sdn Bhd. He has built the biggest Bahasa language book and magazine publishing force in Malaysia over 30 years.
There are three commendable factors that set Dato Hussamuddin apart from other businessmen who have made it big in Malaysia: he runs his publications on firm values, believes in giving back to society and he is uncompromising on corrupt practices.
In giving this Lifetime Achievement Award, the organizers, sponsors and partners are greatly honored to present its Lifetime Achievement for 2012 to this outstanding son of Malaysia who should be an example to this country and every other Asian society.
