Singh is a highly regarded Silicon Valley leader with a proven track record of taking both established and emerging software companies to accelerated levels of growth. He will drive company initiatives to further penetrate the global market and to develop new channel opportunities for the technology which launched in June, 2012.

In leading company business strategy, Singh will work closely with Roger Sippl, Connection Cloud founder and lead architect. Sippl will continue as Chief Technology Officer and take the post of Executive Chairman as well.

“Elastic Intelligence is at a point in its growth path where we need an ace to take us to the next level and capitalize on the growing market acceptance we have quickly achieved. We believe Ajay Singh is the right person to enable us to take full advantage of the unique opportunity we have before us in the enterprise market,” said Sippl.

“In just a short time, the Connection Cloud has become a key enabler of business intelligence solutions as companies recognize it to be the missing link to accessing SaaS data in real time,” said Singh. “I am excited about the virtually unlimited possibilities that the Connection Cloud’s connection service has in solving an enormous problem for enterprises, that of accessing data in the cloud. Current cloud data access or integration solutions are not in real time and involve the time and money drain of custom development or extensive data warehousing. Clearly, on time to value, price point and real time performance, the Connection Cloud is the best solution in the market place.”

Market Momentum

Elastic Intelligence, in a short while, has moved to the forefront of entrepreneurial companies delivering innovative solutions to accessing data in the cloud. Among its achievements over the past year are:

  • Securing key partner agreements with companies such as Sererra, a technology and management consulting firm that is partnered with NetSuite, Salesforce, Intacct, SugarCRM and SAP, among others.
  • Developing a host of connectors to enable users to leverage SaaS data from where it resides, in the cloud, saving enterprises significant development and IT expense.
  • Tracking the exponential growth of the Connection Cloud user base as its marketing channel expands and more users are signing up on a weekly basis.

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...
