Pro Bowl Nominee Chris Harris Jr. Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado

DENVER, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The holidays came early to several area children as they had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet 2013 Pro Bowl Nominee Chris Harris Jr., a NFL cornerback for the Denver Broncos.  Harris teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado on November 6, 2012 for a special pizza party honoring several outstanding Little Brothers and Sisters. During the event, Chris took the opportunity to encourage the youth on the importance of education and working hard in school, as well as being generous and helping others.

Harris then recognized the winners of the BBBSC Broncos Game Day Giveaway Essay Contest.   Twenty-two Littles participated in the essay contest choosing between the topics: "What generosity means to you" or "Goals for their future". Miranda Cruz and Damian Rebaza-Keltner were the winners of the essay contest and received tickets for themselves and their Bigs to attend a Broncos game, post-game tickets to meet the players after the game, and free Broncos gear.  The other essay participants were recognized for their effort and received personalized goody bags from Chris Harris, which included an autographed Broncos t-shirt and a Chris Harris player's card.  During the event, the Littles participated in a question and answer session and played a Bronco trivia game.  The magical evening concluded with a picture and autograph session.

"We are grateful for the support of Chris Harris Jr. and appreciate his willingness to serve as a role model for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Our youth look up to professional athletes and to have a local player who sets the pace by giving back to the community and investing in the future generation means a lot," said  Diane Stanek, President, BBBSC Board of Directors.  "We want to thank Chris and congratulate him on his recent Pro Bowl nomination.  2013 Pro Bowl voting is now underway and we want to encourage everyone to go to www.nfl.com to vote for Chris."

"I was fortunate to have the support of mentors while growing up and believe these strong role models helped me to get where I am today.  I hope to use my success to give back to others," said Chris Harris Jr.  "I am honored to be on the 2013 Pro Bowl Ballot and appreciate all of the fan votes."

Chris Harris Jr. is in his second season as a NFL Cornerback for the Denver Broncos.  While still early in his career, he has already posted stellar stats, which have earned him a spot on the 2013 Pro Bowl Ballot.  Prior to joining the Broncos, Chris played football at the University of Kansas earning several top defensive honors as well as a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science.  Chris attributes much of his collegiate and professional success to the mentorship and opportunities awarded to him as a child and young man.  He is focused on helping young people get a head start in life through his foundation, the Chris Harris Jr. Foundation.  For more information, please visit http://chrisharrisjr.com.

The essence of data analysis involves setting up data pipelines that consist of several operations that are chained together – starting from data collection, data quality checks, data integration, data analysis and data visualization (including the setting up of interaction paths in that visualization). In our opinion, the challenges stem from the technology diversity at each stage of the data pipeline as well as the lack of process around the analysis.
Cloud computing changed data analytics for good. It enabled companies to drastically decrease resources and architecture previously assigned with business intelligence departments. It also enabled laymen to run advanced business analytics. Cloud was also the architecture of choice for storing and processing big data. Data piling is a continuous process, which is going to explode with emerging Internet of Things concept. Answer to this issue developers found in new concept called fog computing. ...
