CHICAGO, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), a leading owner and operator of industrial real estate and provider of supply chain solutions, announced that its board of directors declared a dividend of $0.45313 per depositary share on its 7.25% Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (NYSE: FR-PrJ) for the quarter ending December 31, 2012 payable on December 31, 2012 to stockholders of record on December 14, 2012. As detailed below, Series J depositary shares to be redeemed shall receive a pro rata dividend through the redemption settlement date.
Additionally, the board of directors declared a dividend of $0.45313 per depositary share on its 7.25% Series K Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (NYSE: FR-PrK) for the quarter ending December 31, 2012 payable on December 31, 2012 to stockholders of record on December 14, 2012.
Per the Company's press release dated November 20, 2012, First Industrial will redeem 2 million depositary shares of its 7.25% Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock. The aggregate redemption price of the shares to be redeemed will be $25.40781 per depositary share. The redemption price reflects the stated value of $25 plus accrued but unpaid dividends of $0.40781 per depositary share for the period of October 1, 2012 through the settlement date of the redemption of December 21, 2012.
