Stillwater Mining Set to Join the S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stillwater Mining Co. (NYSE: SWC) will replace JDA Software Group Inc. (NASD: JDAS) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Thursday, December 13. RedPrairie Corp. is acquiring JDA Software Group in a deal expected to be completed on or about that date pending final approvals.

Stillwater Mining engages in developing, extracting, processing, smelting, refining, and marketing palladium, platinum and platinum group metals. Headquartered in Billings, MT, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Precious Metals Sub-Industry index.
