Glenridge HealthCare Solutions Announces Appointments of Executive Consultant, Clinical Integration and Vice President of Business Development

COLUMBIA, Md., Dec. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenridge HealthCare Solutions, a consulting, technology and professional services firm that serves the healthcare industry, has announced the appointments of Allan Field and Christina Hedge to senior executive positions.

Field has assumed the role of Executive Consultant, Clinical Integration and Hedge is the Vice President of Business Development. 

With these key appointments, Glenridge HealthCare Solutions expands the level of expertise it offers to payers, providers and strategic partners. The appointments allow the company to enhance its services to healthcare delivery systems, providers and employers, particularly related to reform-driven initiatives, alliance development, value-based contracting strategies, customized provider networks and healthplan product development.

Field has an expansive portfolio of experience in the healthcare industry, with more than 20 years in executive-level health system management and board positions. He is a pioneer and industry expert in Clinical Integration, having led TriState Health Partners in Hagerstown, Maryland through the development of a clinically integrated delivery system - one of three organizations nationally to be recognized as such in a Federal Trade Commission Advisory Opinion Letter.

Field's expertise in payer/provider alliances, medical staff relations and managed care program development will bring strategic direction, thought leadership and implementation experience to Glenridge clients nationally.

Hedge, who is a certified public accountant and a health insurance producer in several states, has a diverse healthcare background working with healthplans, delivery systems and employers. Her experience includes healthcare financing for a national health plan association, developing and negotiating institutional and ancillary provider networks for a regional BlueCross plan, and most recently leading national sales teams responsible for selling health plan offerings to large employers for Kaiser Permanente. 

Hedge's healthplan experience - both as a provider network manager and as a sales executive customizing solutions for employers - provides unique perspective and hands-on experience to Glenridge clients as they develop strategies and solutions related to healthplan product development and managed care program performance.
