Direct Source, a tier-one retail technology consultant and solutions provider, has launched a new hardware-as-a-service (HasS) offering at the NRF 102nd Annual Convention & EXPO, January 13-16 in New York City to help retailers more quickly cost-justify and adopt the latest mobile technologies. With the current pace of mobile device advancements, many retailers are hesitant to invest in devices that may be outdated in as little as 6-9 months.
Working with Direct Source, retailers can now have access to the most up-to-date mobile hardware devices, with the option to upgrade at any time. They simply pay a monthly charge for use of the technology, and can easily upgrade as new devices become available.
With its professional services team, Direct Source takes care of site surveys to determine the hardware needs, installation and de-installation of devices and shipping & taxes. The turnkey offering can incorporate all the retailer’s needs for hardware and associated software, support, warranty, replacement and maintenance needs.
