DMTI Spatial Uses Cornerstone Data to Leverage Location to Drive Marketing Effectiveness

Latest release of Location Hub(R) Portal allows users to improve address quality and obtain contact information in single, online process.

MARKHAM, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/13 -- DMTI Spatial Inc. (DMTI), Canada's leading provider of Location Intelligence solutions, today released the latest version of Location Hub Portal, formerly known as Location Hub Address Assure. This version was developed to help marketers leverage their location-based information to execute more effective campaigns and increase their conversion rates while relying on a single online solution instead of multiple products. Through an agreement with Cornerstone Group of Companies, DMTI customers are now able to access Cornerstone data to obtain the names and phone numbers associated with the addresses they possess from within Location Hub Portal. Merging DMTI's ability to ensure address accuracy, eliminate duplication and infill missing data with Cornerstone's contact information allows Location Hub Portal users to uncover new opportunity and improve their return on investment.

Location Hub Portal is a SaaS-based service that validates and corrects Canadian addresses for complete accuracy. It also assigns geographic coordinates to allow addresses to be placed on a map with high precision. The service reviews and compares users' uploaded proprietary address data against DMTI's comprehensive national database. On the whole, Location Hub Portal allows businesses to gain better insight into their current and potential customers for strategic decision making, saving organizations time and money while increasing revenue.

"We are pleased to be a part of DMTI's improved Location Hub Portal service and believe it will help organizations run more effective marketing campaigns," commented Stuart Young, Cornerstone's Vice President, Data Products. "We expect that the combination of accurate and verified address data with comprehensive contact information will increase ROI and give DMTI's customers an advantage over their competition."

According to DMTI VP and General Manager Phil Kaszuba, "Building an effective and targeted marketing campaign has never been easier. In addition to ensuring the quality and precision of their addresses, this evolutionary advancement allows customers to obtain contact information at the same time without having to rely on multiple sources. The addition of Cornerstone data is another key piece that makes Location Hub Portal Canada's best and most comprehensive solution for leveraging address information to improve business success. This is a huge win for both DMTI and our customers."

Cloud adoption is often driven by a desire to increase efficiency, boost agility and save money. All too often, however, the reality involves unpredictable cost spikes and lack of oversight due to resource limitations. In his session at 20th Cloud Expo, Joe Kinsella, CTO and Founder of CloudHealth Technologies, tackled the question: “How do you build a fully optimized cloud?” He will examine: Why TCO is critical to achieving cloud success – and why attendees should be thinking holistically ab...
Internet-of-Things discussions can end up either going down the consumer gadget rabbit hole or focused on the sort of data logging that industrial manufacturers have been doing forever. However, in fact, companies today are already using IoT data both to optimize their operational technology and to improve the experience of customer interactions in novel ways. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Gordon Haff, Red Hat Technology Evangelist, shared examples from a wide range of industries – including en...
In IT, we sometimes coin terms for things before we know exactly what they are and how they’ll be used. The resulting terms may capture a common set of aspirations and goals – as “cloud” did broadly for on-demand, self-service, and flexible computing. But such a term can also lump together diverse and even competing practices, technologies, and priorities to the point where important distinctions are glossed over and lost.
Detecting internal user threats in the Big Data eco-system is challenging and cumbersome. Many organizations monitor internal usage of the Big Data eco-system using a set of alerts. This is not a scalable process given the increase in the number of alerts with the accelerating growth in data volume and user base. Organizations are increasingly leveraging machine learning to monitor only those data elements that are sensitive and critical, autonomously establish monitoring policies, and to detect...

Most companies are adopting or evaluating container technology - Docker in particular - to speed up application deployment, drive down cost, ease management and make application delivery more flexible overall. As with most new architectures, this dream takes a lot of work to become a reality. Even when you do get your application componentized enough and packaged properly, there are still challenges for DevOps teams to making the shift to continuous delivery and achieving that reduction in cost ...
Enterprise architects are increasingly adopting multi-cloud strategies as they seek to utilize existing data center assets, leverage the advantages of cloud computing and avoid cloud vendor lock-in. This requires a globally aware traffic management strategy that can monitor infrastructure health across data centers and end-user experience globally, while responding to control changes and system specification at the speed of today’s DevOps teams. In his session at 20th Cloud Expo, Josh Gray, Chie...
To get the most out of their data, successful companies are not focusing on queries and data lakes, they are actively integrating analytics into their operations with a data-first application development approach.
