Swingplane Ventures, Inc. Website Interrupted by Targeted Attack

SANTIAGO, CHILE -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/13 -- Swingplane Ventures, Inc. (OTCBB: SWVI) (the "Company") wishes to advise that:

YESTERDAY MORNING the Company's website was brought down by a targeted Denial-of-service attack (DoS). Denial-of-service attacks are illegal in many countries and can be a federal crime in the US under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Penalties can include monetary fines and many years of imprisonment.

The site is currently being moved to a new server and will be back up shortly.

The Company is experiencing an unusual trading volume and we suspect the attack on the Company's website may have been undertaken by short sellers based on the recent trading activity.

The Company notes there has been a substantial increase in volume since the Company announced it has restructured its pending acquisition of the mineral concessions in Chile. Neither the Company nor its officers and directors are aware of any investor relations activity on behalf of the Company other than the news releases and filings disseminated by the Company that may be the cause of this recent volume and price increase. The Company encourages anyone interested in investing, or learning more about the Company to review the Company's filings with The Securities and Exchange Commission on SEDAR and/or EDGAR. We caution any investors to rely on Company emitted news release before investing in our stock. Further, we encourage investors to visit our website as soon as it is operational to review the disclosure on the mining concessions and any reports or information published on those concessions to evaluate the potential of the Company's soon to be acquired assets.

The Company intends to file a Super 8K within the next week and intends to publish a news release as soon as the website is up and operational.

Most companies are adopting or evaluating container technology - Docker in particular - to speed up application deployment, drive down cost, ease management and make application delivery more flexible overall. As with most new architectures, this dream takes a lot of work to become a reality. Even when you do get your application componentized enough and packaged properly, there are still challenges for DevOps teams to making the shift to continuous delivery and achieving that reduction in cost ...
