Linkable Networks Gives Minnesota Grocery Shoppers Easier Way to Save without Clipping Coupons

For Minnesota shoppers, the hassle and time consuming process of clipping and sorting coupons is now easier than ever with a new technology called “Linkables,” courtesy of Linkable Networks. Linkables provide a new savings experience that allows consumers to end the time consuming process of clipping coupons and start using ‘paperless’ savings from their favorite stores delivered right to their debit or credit card just by linking the card online to the offer with a simply click. Now available at top grocery chain Lunds and Byerly’s, consumers can log onto MyLinkables.com to access dozens of offers for both individual items and discounts off of the entire sale. Once the offer is linked to the credit or debit card, the money automatically is credited to your account once the purchase is made.

Linkables are digital coupons loaded directly to a consumer’s debit or credit card of choice. Once the consumer registers their card for free at MyLinkables.com, they can click on any offers available and link them to their card of choice. After the consumer uses the registered debit or credit card, the savings are automatically credited to the card with saving appearing directly on the cardholder’s monthly statement – no paper coupons necessary. Linkable Networks abides by the same security requirements, also known as PCI-compliant, as all major credit cards and banks, so card information is kept safe and secure within consumers’ bank walls.

"Card-linked offers allow consumers to reap the benefits of coupons without ever having to bring a paper coupon into a store," said Tom Burgess, CEO of Linkable Networks. "If they see an offer they like, they simply click or text to link it to their card. When they shop in store, the savings are automatically credited back to their card. It’s just that easy. I’m excited that Minnesotans will now be able to experience a seamless, consumer friendly way of saving while doing their weekly grocery shopping."

Linkables offer a time-saving way to save money and with the mobile app (available on iOS and Android), consumers can access and link offers on the go. Offers at Lunds and Byerly’s are refreshed bi-monthly and represent all of the store’s different retail categories, from grocery to personal care items. Offers are available both at SKU-level, or product level, and store-level. To view the current offers, please visit MyLinkables.com.

Major trends and emerging technologies – from virtual reality and IoT, to Big Data and algorithms – are helping organizations innovate in the digital era. Fifty billion connected devices and still no winning protocols standards. If you’re responsible for an application that depends on the data or functionality of various IoT endpoints – either sensors or devices – your brand reputation depends on the security, reliability, and compliance of its many integrated parts. Enterprise IT has been in the era of Hybrid Cloud for some time now. But it seems most conversations about Hybrid are focused on integrating AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google ECM into existing on-premises systems. Where is all the Private Cloud? What do technology providers need to do to make their offerings more compelling? How should enterprise IT executives and buyers define their focus, needs, and roadmap, and communicate that clearly to the providers?
