UPZS Announces Pizza Fusion Opening Two New Locations in Florida

National Organic Pizza Chain Announces New Naples, Fla. Restaurant; Scouts New Corporate Restaurant and Training Center in Boca Raton

PITTSBURGH, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/13 -- Unique Pizza and Subs Corp. (PINKSHEETS: UPZS) today announced Pizza Fusion, this nation's only choice for superior quality gourmet organic pizza, continues to cultivate its home state of Florida with two new locations in Naples and Boca Raton.

With the addition of these two new locations, Pizza Fusion will grow its international chain to 22 restaurants system wide. Pizza Fusion Naples will open at 2146 Tamiami Trail North in "The Gateway of Naples" shopping center, strategically located near the popular organic market, Food & Thought. Corporate is actively assessing locations in the Boca Raton area for a new flagship corporate restaurant and training facility. On August 29, 2012, the Company announced it had signed a Definitive Agreement to acquire privately held Pizza Fusion Holdings, with closing expected in early 2013.

Pizza Fusion Naples is the second location for veteran Pizza Fusion franchisee, Brown Thompson. After giving pizza fans a better reason to eat organic with the opening of Pizza Fusion Fort Myers in 2010, Thompson set his sights on the neighboring beach community. He will open the doors of Pizza Fusion Naples on Earth Day, April 22, 2013.

This marquee show place will also serve as a training facility for the Florida region franchisees and will be used for research and development as Pizza Fusion continues to lead the industry with new and inventive organic, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menu items.
