TEAS'® TEA Continues to Build on Whole Planet Foundation Partnership

Marks 6th Year as a Founding Supplier Alliance Partner

NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ITO EN, the world's leading supplier of loose leaf and makers of the award-winning bottled green tea, TEAS' TEA®, will mark its sixth year as a Supplier Alliance Partner of Whole Planet Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by Whole Foods Market to alleviate poverty through microcredit financing in developing countries.

Committed to supporting the mission of the Whole Planet Foundation, ITO EN is one of the original founding Supplier Alliance Partners of the foundation, launched in 2005. Formed by the entrepreneurial spirit of Whole Foods Market with Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank, the founding partners have pledged over $1.45 million dollars to the microentrepeneurs. This year's kick-off will begin on February 21 through March 2013.
