Electrolux Inspires Party Throwers Everywhere to Roll Out the (Wrinkle-Free) Red Carpet in Time for Awards Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Planning an at-home star-studded soiree to screen and celebrate Hollywood's biggest night?  As most seasoned party throwers can attest, every great gathering starts with a laundry list of to-do's.  Luckily, entertainment and lifestyle expert Raina Seitel now reveals her secrets to perfect parties.  The Electrolux Front Load Washer – stealing the show in a chic, new Titanium color – is designed to take the best care of fabrics, ensuring that amazing ensembles and chic table linens are always party-ready.

The Electrolux Front Load Washer features an Expert Care wash system, which allows water to flow from the top of washer – unlike other washing machines – to quickly activate detergent resulting in a better clean.  The Perfect Steam wash system generates steam from the bottom of the washer, which more effectively lifts stains and other dirty residue to remove wrinkles and freshen clothes.  It also boasts the fastest wash and dry cycle at 29 minutes total (15 minutes to wash and 14 minutes to dry). It offers 12 unique wash cycles and options – including a "My Favorite" setting that will allow any hostess to quickly prep fancy table linens or amazing ensembles at just the right setting.

Raina's tips to direct show-stopping soirees include:

  • Set the Stage: Always have themes for parties (this year is all about old Hollywood glamour) with bite-sized snacks and cocktails to match. Hors d'oeuvres and sweet treats are a great touch so guests feel like they are at the movies, but totally pampered at the same time.  Create a signature drink to welcome guests and give it a special name that ties back to the theme.
  • Stay Smooth: Make sure all fine linens are stain and wrinkle-free.  The Electrolux Front Load Washer features an Expert Care wash system designed to flow water from the top to quickly activate detergent, which results in a better clean.  And the Perfect Steam setting ensures superior stain removal that keeps wardrobes and table linens looking fabulous.
  • Play up the Drama: Offer fun, interactive games guests can play as they view Tinsel Town's hottest awards show. Have everyone vote on who they think is going to win and award prizes to the winners.  Introduce an awards show themed bingo game to coincide with categories, stars and films.
  • Give the Gift of Glamour: Greet guests with a fun party favor that adds a bit of glamour to their outfit such as trendy, yet affordable necklaces for the girls or ties for the guys.

The Front Load Washer and Dryer in the new Titanium finish are available at select retail locations beginning in April in Silver Sands, Titanium and Island White colors. Please visit www.electroluxappliances.com for more information.

Mobile, social, Big Data, and cloud have fundamentally changed the way we live. “Anytime, anywhere” access to data and information is no longer a luxury; it’s a requirement, in both our personal and professional lives. For IT organizations, this means pressure has never been greater to deliver meaningful services to the business and customers.
Digital Transformation is the ultimate goal of cloud computing and related initiatives. The phrase is certainly not a precise one, and as subject to hand-waving and distortion as any high-falutin' terminology in the world of information technology. Yet it is an excellent choice of words to describe what enterprise IT—and by extension, organizations in general—should be working to achieve. Digital Transformation means: handling all the data types being found and created in the organizat...

Container technology is sending shock waves through the world of cloud computing. Heralded as the 'next big thing,' containers provide software owners a consistent way to package their software and dependencies while infrastructure operators benefit from a standard way to deploy and run them. Containers present new challenges for tracking usage due to their dynamic nature. They can also be deployed to bare metal, virtual machines and various cloud platforms. With SaaS use rampant across organizations, how can IT departments track company data and maintain security? More and more departments are commissioning their own solutions and bypassing IT.
