Tangent Medical Showcases the NovaCath(TM) Integrated IV Catheter System at National Event Committed to Healthcare Innovation

ANN ARBOR, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 06/12/13 -- Tangent Medical (www.tangentmedical.com), an innovator in IV therapy products and creator of the NovaCath™ Integrated IV Catheter System, was one of 14 medical innovations featured at the Premier healthcare alliance's 2013 Breakthrough Conference and Exhibition on June 11th in San Antonio. Debuting during the conference, Tangent Medical's NovaCath was selected by clinicians and other members of Premier, a provider-owned performance improvement alliance of more than 2,800 hospitals and nearly 100,000 other care sites.

The event recognizes advances in healthcare while highlighting industry suppliers committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. Selection criteria included the uniqueness of the product, its ability to have an impact on an unmet medical need and its potential to positively impact patient care.
