Canon U.S.A. Introduces imageCLASS Printonomics MPS Program As a Value-Added Service for Reseller Channel

Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced a new Managed Print Services (MPS) program, imageCLASS Printonomics, for resellers enrolled in its imageCLASS Premier Partner Program.

By joining forces with PrintFleet, a global leader in device monitoring services, the imageCLASS Printonomics program will provide participating Premier Partner resellers, including IT value-added resellers, copier dealers and solution providers, with access to device monitoring services, as well as tools to get started, including complementary device licenses and access to sales and technical support from both Canon U.S.A. and PrintFleet.

“Today’s businesses rely on their print and imaging resellers to quickly assess their existing environments and make recommendations on how to save time and money,” said Sam Yoshida, vice president and general manager, Marketing, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A. “Our Premier Partner resellers are some of the best resellers in this industry and we are investing in new services to give them innovative ways to grow their business and help reduce operating costs for their customers."

“The imageCLASS Printonomics program has been co-developed by Canon U.S.A. and PrintFleet to provide resellers a unique, easy entry to Managed Print Services,” said Chris McFarlane, PrintFleet’s President and CEO. “Canon U.S.A. recognizes that high-quality device data is required for a services reseller to compete effectively and create exceptional value for their customers. Participating resellers will have access to print device data through a 24-hour portal that enables resellers to proactively manage their customers' fleets and perform service and meter billing, opening the door to efficient automation of a variety of essential business processes. To uncover device replacement opportunities, participating resellers can leverage a large set of standard and customizable reports and consult with the imageCLASS solutions marketing team for pre-sales support. Qualified resellers will have access to special MPS-level discounts available through participating Distributors that offer imageCLASS laser printers and multifunction devices, consumables, accessories and/or extended warranties. Leasing terms are available through Canon Financial Services.

“The imageCLASS Printonomics program is a game-changer for how I now run my business,” said Joseph Sands, president, Sands Office Equipment. “Thanks to Canon, I now have unprecedented insight into the page volumes and uptime of my customers’ current mixed fleets, empowering me to propose new solutions that are optimized to their needs.”

The media, of course, continues to extol the virtues of the cloud, including how easy it is to get there. Migrating...
The use of containers by developers -- and now increasingly IT operators -- has grown from infatuation to deep and abiding love.
