“Issuu is transforming the way readers discover and engage with publications online and how publishers distribute and monetize content. Issuu allows readers to discover high-quality content from a wide range of publishers globally. Its depth and breadth of content spans mainstream publications such as V Magazine to special interest and enlightening magazines such as Vice and Red Bulletin and portfolios by the artist, Tom Sachs.

It's exciting to discover a platform that effectively connects readers with the content they love, while enabling great publishers to thrive in the digital universe,” said Bradley Horowitz, Vice President of Product Management, Social Products Division at Google. “I have been impressed by what Issuu has built so far, and I'm excited to help guide their continued growth and global expansion. In the two decades I've known and worked with Joe Hyrkin, he has consistently demonstrated a uniquely bold vision around the democratization of content, making him the ideal person to lead Issuu."

Joe Hyrkin brings more than 20 years of tech and publishing sector expertise to the Issuu team. Previously CEO of Reverb as well as Entrepreneur in Residence at Trinity Ventures, Hyrkin has also held top leadership positions at Gaia Interactive, Yahoo!, Flickr and Virage, Inc.
