Introducing DocuSign for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Version 2.0

We're so excited to announce the launch of DocuSign for Microsoft Dynamics CRM! This is the most feature-rich release of the Dynamics CRM connector. We designed DocuSign for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2.0 to help you reduce paper waste, shorten sales cycles, and increase close rates. With the new and improved version of the connector, you can now access DocuSign in more places within Dynamics CRM. And it’s available free on the DocuSign Solutions Showcase or Microsoft Dynamics Martketplace.  We’d also like to thank the Dynamics partners and that participated during the beta period to help us tune the connector.

"Send with DocuSign" Functionality from the Account, Contact, and Lead Entities

We know that you use your CRM for more than just sales contracts. We now give you the capability to send documents out for signature from the Account, Contact, and Lead entities in addition to the Opportunity entity in Dynamics CRM. Clicking on the "Send with DocuSign" button that's integrated directly into the entity ribbon pulls related documents and recipient information into a pre-populated DocuSign envelope. You can add and edit recipient tags and send the envelope just as you do in DocuSign, right from your Dynamics CRM environment!

The document statuses are tracked within Microsoft Dynamics CRM during the envelope's lifecycle, and the completed documents are attached back to the entity as a signed PDF.

*Poof* - you're closing all of your business in the cloud.

"Send with DocuSign" Functionality from Custom Entities

We also know that sales workflow and business processes vary dramatically from one customer to the next. So, we now allow you to add the "Send with DocuSign" functionality to any custom entity in your Dynamics CRM environment. You can tag and send documents attached to a custom entity as a DocuSign envelope, keep track of the status of each envelope, and receive the completed documents - all from within your CRM environment.

Support for the Dynamics CRM Outlook Plugin

DocuSign for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is now available through the Dynamics CRM Outlook plugin. This means you can use the "Send with DocuSign" functionality without ever leaving your email client!

So, remember, to access these great features and more just download the DocuSign for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2.0 for free on the DocuSign Solutions Showcase or Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace. Remember, if you don't have a DocuSign account, you can sign up for a free trial with 50 free documents directly from within Dynamics CRM. If you have an account already, you can connect it to your CRM by entering your credentials.

If you are interested in using DocuSign with Dynamics but require additional functionality or customization, please reach out to us to discuss our open API and extensive partner network.

A HUGE shout-out to the small talented team of engineers whose hard work made this product what it is today. Please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions - we'd love to hear them. Thank you for keeping business digital, as well as your support as we build and enhance the global standard for eSignature together.

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction.
