A.T. Kearney Continues Ambitious Growth Path With the Hiring of Four Partners in Silicon Valley

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/13 -- Global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney announced today the hiring of four partners who will join the firm's Communications, Media & Technology Practice. These experienced consulting leaders collectively bring a full breadth of strategy and operations consulting capabilities to serve clients in the high technology sector anchored on the West Coast but with a global reach. This injection of skills and scale will allow A.T. Kearney to grow substantially in this sector.

Since January 2013, A.T. Kearney has expanded its partner ranks by more than 10 percent to nearly 300 partners in 58 offices around the world.

Alex Blanter: Based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Alex is an experienced innovation and product development consultant, most recently with PwC's PRTM Management Consulting (PRTM was acquired by PwC in 2011), where he led their Product Innovation and Development Practice in product & services industries. With 20 plus years' experience in Silicon Valley, Alex is known for delivering superior business value to clients looking for growth through innovation, increased product development productivity, complexity reduction and enablement of product lifecycle management through enterprise IT solutions. Prior to his career in consulting, Alex held a number of engineering management positions in the high technology industry, including with Applied Materials and Quester Technology.

Clarence Chen: Based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Clarence is an accomplished operations strategy consultant, most recently with PwC's PRTM Management Consulting, where he led PwC's Supply Chain and Operations Practice focused on the technology sector. He has worked closely with companies that span the technology value chain, leading complex global supply chain and operations transformations. Clarence also founded Avere, which was later acquired by Manhattan Associates, and held a number of industry roles.

Mark Holman: Based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Mark is a seasoned strategy consultant known for his vision. Mark joins A.T. Kearney from PwC's PRTM Management Consulting, where he led PwC's M&A Strategy Practice and was one of their leading supply chain strategists in the technology sector. He brings with him real-world expertise of founding and leading technology companies in Silicon Valley. Furthermore, he has executed more than 50 M&A transactions in 30 countries. In addition to his extensive consulting experience, Mark has held senior leadership roles at Solectron, a leading electronics contract manufacturer; E2open, a SaaS supply chain software company, where he was the founding CEO; and Arena Solutions, a SaaS PLM software company.

Chris Richard: Based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Chris is an experienced strategy and operations consultant, most recently with PwC's PRTM Management Consulting, where he led the Semiconductor Industry Team. Chris' extensive experience includes strategy formulation, customer experience delivery, merger and acquisition support, organizational effectiveness, and operational transformation. Previously, Chris held senior leadership roles in the semiconductor industry as well as in the United States Army and spent 10 years with Intel, culminating as Intel's director of management and leadership development.
