Russell Reynolds Associates Strengthens Chicago Office with the Appointment of Norm Yustin and John Madera

Global executive search and assessment firm Russell Reynolds Associates today announced the continued growth of the firm’s Chicago office with the additions of Norm Yustin and John Madera. Norm is a member of the firm’s Consumer Sector and Retail Practice and John joins the firm’s Technology Sector and Information Officers Practice.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Norm was President at Havas Worldwide, where he led a team of 350 people providing advertising, marketing, corporate communications, digital, social and media solutions to clients that included Sony PlayStation, Citibank, DISH, Reynolds Wrap and Laughing Cow, among others. Prior to Havas, Norm served as the first Global Chief Marketing Officer for Claire’s Stores, Inc., where he oversaw brand strategy, creative development, public relations, social media, production and in-store presentation for 3,400 Claire's and Icing stores worldwide. Earlier, he was based in Minneapolis and served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Macy’s North (Marshall Fields), where he was instrumental in the “My Macy’s” merchandising strategy and “Magic of Macy’s” brand strategy and creative campaign. Previously, Norm spent 15 years in progressively senior roles in global advertising agencies including Fallon Worldwide, Leo Burnett, and Ogilvy & Mather.

Norm received his degree in Business Administration at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

John Madera is a member of the firm’s Technology Sector, focusing his search efforts on Information Officers. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, John spent several years with Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager, Business Advisory. There, he managed a range of business transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 clients across industries. Before that, he spent four years with BearingPoint Inc. as a Manager, Management Consulting. John’s work there included helping a major client develop a company-wide, cross-functional merger integration methodology that aimed to boost speed of target integration, increase cross-functional collaboration, and capture merger synergies. John began his career as a Senior Procurement Specialist at KBR, Inc. in the Middle East.

John received his B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University.
