Starting with its humble beginnings in the basement of a Cambridge, Massachusetts, apartment building, today ADI technology is everywhere. Avnet, with a vast technical offering and a global footprint, is proud to have been part of this impressive success story.

In 1973, the same year ADI introduced the industry’s first CMOS digital-to-analog converter, Avnet entered its distribution agreement with ADI. That year new products helped drive a 50 percent increase in sales companywide, to a record $22 million.
