News Feed Item® Launches Highly-Anticipated eH+ Service; Introduces Personal Relationship Matchmakers to Help you Find Your Perfect Match® today announced the launch of its new online dating service eH+, following the completion of a one month beta test. The new service combines online dating with an experienced matchmaker for those desiring a more personal dating experience. The beta test exceeded expectations with the company receiving hundreds of inquiries. The premium eH+ service is now moving to the pilot phase of development which will include a measured roll-out over the course of the year.

“The beta launch was a great success, proving out our marketing data that indicated significant interest in this product,” said Grant Langston, vice president of Customer Experience for eHarmony. “Our roll-out plan accommodates a slow build, with the expectation that by the end of 2014, eH+ will have a few hundred customers. eHarmony is known for the quality and effectiveness of our service and as we grow eH+, the focus will be on exceeding that standard with every interaction.”

eH+ combines the power of eHarmony’s famous 29 Dimensions of Compatibility® and its vast pool of candidates with traditional matchmaking to work personally with clients helping them find the love of their life.

eHarmony Featured in Upcoming Ben Stiller Movie

In an unusual twist, a new film to be released Christmas Day called The Secret Life of Walter Mitty will feature an eHarmony personal relationship matchmaker that helps Walter Mitty, played by Ben Stiller, as he struggles through his quest to impress a colleague who is also an eHarmony user.

“We were already well down the road of developing eH+ when the film’s producers asked if they could feature eHarmony,” said Langston. “The writers selected our service on the strength of the eHarmony brand so we did not pay for any product placement but simply gave permission. What the film did do was provide a timeline for us to bring eH+ to market, as we wanted to launch the product prior to the film’s release on Christmas Day.”

“The timing of the release of the movie, along with the product launch seemed perfect,” said Dr. Neil Clark Warren, founder and CEO of eHarmony. “We are thrilled that an eHarmony matchmaker will be represented in a Ben Stiller movie.”

eH+ already has a growing user base and is priced at $5,000 for the service for one year. For more information, please visit us online at

Manufacturing has widely adopted standardized and automated processes to create designs, build them, and maintain them through their life cycle. However, many modern manufacturing systems go beyond mechanized workflows to introduce empowered workers, flexible collaboration, and rapid iteration. Such behaviors also characterize open source software development and are at the heart of DevOps culture, processes, and tooling.
Containers are revolutionizing the way we deploy and maintain our infrastructures, but monitoring and troubleshooting in a containerized environment can still be painful and impractical. Understanding even basic resource usage is difficult - let alone tracking network connections or malicious activity. In his session at DevOps Summit, Gianluca Borello, Sr. Software Engineer at Sysdig, will cover the current state of the art for container monitoring and visibility, including pros / cons and li...

There are many considerations when moving applications from on-premise to cloud. It is critical to understand the benefits and also challenges of this migration. A successful migration will result in lower Total Cost of Ownership, yet offer the same or higher level of robustness. Migration to cloud shifts computing resources from your data center, which can yield significant advantages provided that the cloud vendor an offer enterprise-grade quality for your application.
Overgrown applications have given way to modular applications, driven by the need to break larger problems into smaller problems. Similarly large monolithic development processes have been forced to be broken into smaller agile development cycles. Looking at trends in software development, microservices architectures meet the same demands. Additional benefits of microservices architectures are compartmentalization and a limited impact of service failure versus a complete software malfunction....
The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing rapidly by extending current technologies, products and networks. By 2020, Cisco estimates there will be 50 billion connected devices. Gartner has forecast revenues of over $300 billion, just to IoT suppliers. Now is the time to figure out how you’ll make money – not just create innovative products. With hundreds of new products and companies jumping into the IoT fray every month, there’s no shortage of innovation. Despite this, McKinsey/VisionMobile data...
DevOps has often been described in terms of CAMS: Culture, Automation, Measuring, Sharing. While we’ve seen a lot of focus on the “A” and even on the “M”, there are very few examples of why the “C" is equally important in the DevOps equation.
