Pivot’s TV Show ‘TakePart Live’ Finds New Associate Producer Thanks to Monster

(NYSE: MWW) and Pivot (www.pivot.tv), Participant Media's television network targeting Millennials (those aged 18-34), today announced that Lata Pandya has been hired as an Associate Producer for TakePart Live, the network’s late-night news program.

Pivot and Monster announced their collaboration in the search for a candidate in October, and through Monster.com and its Cool Job program, screened over 2,500 applicants for the position.

In her role, Ms. Pandya will pitch story ideas and work with the TakePart Live writers and producers in creating segments for the show, which is hosted by Jacob Soboroff and Cara Santa Maria and airs Monday – Friday at midnight ET / 9pm PT.

Pandya has a Master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She has worked at many news organizations, most recently as an Associate Producer for ABC’s The Lookout. Also, previously she worked at KCET’s award winning news-magazine show Socal Connected. In 2012 Pandya was part of investigative reporting team that received the Los Angeles Press Club Public Service Award for Socal Connected’s coverage of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles; in 2011 she was part of their investigative reporting team that received an Alfred I. DuPont- Columbia University Award in Broadcast News and a Golden Mike Award for Best Investigative Reporting.

Pandya will begin her new role at Pivot on January 6th, 2014. She will be introduced on-air Monday, December 16th on TakePart Live.
