SHENZHEN, China, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. ("Nam Tai" or the "Company") (NYSE Symbol: NTE) today announced that on January 6, 2014, the class action lawsuit filed against the Company and two of its executives (the "defendants") by several shareholders of Nam Tai on May 17, 2013 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs, with prejudice. No payment or consideration of any kind was made by any of the defendants in connection with the dismissal.
