ST. LOUIS, MO -- (Marketwired) -- 01/09/14 -- Dr. Gilbert Webb of Midwest Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Mercy Hospital St. Louis was recently selected as a Patients' Choice Award Winner for the fifth consecutive year. Of the nation's 870,000 active physicians and dentists, only five percent consistently receive top scores from their patients, making them eligible for this award. Winners of the Patients' Choice Award are selected based on patient satisfaction ratings submitted online. Scores are based on various components of care, including accuracy of diagnosis, the amount of time patients spent with the doctor, the doctor's bedside manner, and follow-up care. Dr. Gilbert Webb's high scores in these categories qualified him for the award.
"Receiving this award for the fifth year in a row is such an honor," said Dr. Webb. "But, the fact that my patients choose me and my partners at Midwest MFM to care for them during one of the most important times in their lives -- giving birth -- is really the greatest honor."
Dr. Gilbert Webb, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, has more than 26 years of experience, and has cared for more than 100,000 patients throughout his career. He has personally delivered more than 8,000 babies and supervised more than 2,000 midwife and resident deliveries. Dr. Gilbert Webb specializes in handling difficult, at-risk pregnancies and deliveries, and he is the Medical Director of Midwest Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

A strange thing is happening along the way to the Internet of Things, namely far too many devices to work with and manage. It has become clear that we'll need much higher efficiency user experiences that can allow us to more easily and scalably work with the thousands of devices that will soon be in each of our lives. Enter the conversational interface revolution, combining bots we can literally talk with, gesture to, and even direct with our thoughts, with embedded artificial intelligence, wh...

According to Forrester Research, every business will become either a digital predator or digital prey by 2020. To avoid demise, organizations must rapidly create new sources of value in their end-to-end customer experiences. True digital predators also must break down information and process silos and extend digital transformation initiatives to empower employees with the digital resources needed to win, serve, and retain customers.
