Jaclyn Reports Third Quarter Financial Results

MAYWOOD, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 01/13/14 -- Jaclyn, Inc. (OTCQX: JCLY) today reported financial results for the third quarter ended November 30, 2013.

Net sales for the three-month period ended November 30, 2013 were $47,153,000 compared to $51,880,000 for the three-month period ended November 30, 2012. The Company reported third quarter ended November 30, 2013 net earnings of $460,000, or $.20 per diluted share, compared to net earnings in last year's third quarter of $1,307,000, or $.54 per diluted share (which includes an after-tax gain on the sale of a remaining lot at the Company's former West New York, New Jersey facility totaling $452,000, or net earnings from operations of $855,000).

Net sales for the nine-month period ended November 30, 2013 were $124,089,000 compared to $123,643,000 for the same period last year. Net earnings for the nine-month period ended November 30, 2013 were $6,000, or $.00 per diluted share. This compares to net earnings of $681,000, or $.27 per diluted share (which includes an after-tax gain on the sale of a remaining lot at the Company's former West New York, New Jersey facility totaling $452,000, or net earnings from operations of $229,000), in the comparable nine-month period last year.
