Orangetheory Fitness Launches Third Annual 6-Week National Weight Loss Challenge, With Chance to Win $25,000 in Cash

Results-Focused Competition Featuring Number-One Fitness Trend Begins Jan. 17 at Studios Nationwide

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 01/13/14 -- Orangetheory® Fitness (http://www.orangetheoryfitness.com), the energizing interval fitness franchise and first to use heart-rate-monitored training for scientifically proven results, has doubled the stakes in its annual 6-Week National Weight Loss Challenge for 2014. Thousands of men and women will not only transform their bodies with Orangetheory Fitness, they will also compete for the chance to win $25,000 in cash. The competition kicks off on January 17 at participating studios across the country.

"This is our third annual National Weight Loss Challenge, and it's better than ever. It's always amazing to see the transformation of thousands of participants as they lose weight and become stronger. Participants in the Challenge must attend a minimum of three 60-minute Orangetheory Fitness sessions per week, with a goal of showing the greatest improvement over the course of the contest. At the end of the 6-Week Challenge, the top female and male contestants among all participating Orangetheory Fitness studios, determined by percentage of weight loss, will be declared the national winners, each receiving $10,000 in cash.
