Le Duff America Selects Software Solution Suite from Agilysys

Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Le Duff America, a Dallas-based restaurant group, has selected the Agilysys Eatec® inventory and procurement system and the Agilysys Workforce Management Solution™ (WMx) to enhance efficiency and reduce costs at 145 Mimi's Café locations across the country. Le Duff America currently uses the Eatec and WMx solutions at 66 la Madeleine Country French Café restaurants nationwide.

"We have used the Eatec and WMx solutions for many years and have complete confidence in Agilysys products, service and support," said Cathy Witt, vice president of information technology at Le Duff America. "Following our acquisition of Mimi's Café, we knew we wanted to implement these systems at every Mimi's location in the country. The Eatec and WMx solutions have proven to be indispensable assets, enabling us to gain control over food and labor costs, increase profitability and optimize our most valuable resource, which is our employees."

The Eatec solution is a Microsoft® Windows®-based, full-featured inventory, procurement and production system designed specifically for the hospitality and foodservice industries. Along with its core purchasing, inventory, recipe, forecasting, production and sales analysis functions, the software also offers modules for catering, cycle planning, retail management, nutrition and allergens. The modular structure allows customers to construct the exact set of features they need — whether an enterprise-wide solution for multiple sites or a single-site system for multiple functions. The software is available as an on-premise or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.

The WMx solution is a comprehensive and feature-rich enterprise system designed to help hospitality organizations improve the efficiency and productivity of the workforce. It includes tools for performance-based scheduling, dynamic labor forecasting, embedded workflow for employee hiring, employee self-service and multiple time-capture solutions. It seamlessly integrates with numerous point-of-sale, property management, inventory and procurement and payroll systems, enabling hospitality providers to reduce labor costs and increase profitability.

"In an industry where margins are tight and mistakes are costly, automated inventory and procurement and workforce management systems are essential management tools," said Tony Ross, vice president of sales at Agilysys. "The Eatec and WMx solutions will enable Mimi's Café to address two of the biggest costs in the hospitality environment — food and labor — and streamline efficiency across the entire operation. We have a strong partnership with Le Duff America and are pleased to expand this relationship to provide software solutions to the newest brand in their portfolio."

Le Duff America is the North American subsidiary of Groupe Le Duff, a global bakery and restaurant company headquartered in Rennes, France. Le Duff America's growing portfolio of brands includes Brioche Dorée, Bruegger's Bagels, la Madeleine Country French Café, Michel's Baguette, Mimi's Café and Timothy's World Coffee.
