Rady Children's Hospital has numerous pediatric specialties that save lives at their 487 bed facility in San Diego, CA.  "I'm proud to be associated with Rady Children's Hospital," said Harry Rady, who serves as Chairman of the Investment committee for Rady Children's Hospital. "Receiving this recognition for the third year in a row speaks to the dedication of the hospital's physicians and staff and their tireless effort in helping to heal the children of San Diego and beyond," Rady continued. The hospital is the only pediatric trauma center in the San Diego area, but children come to the hospital for treatment from all over the country.

The US News and World Report's list of the Best Children's Hospitals in the USA scores hospitals in ten pediatric categories. Among the Best Children's Hospital categories where Rady Children's Hospital ranked the highest were the pediatric categories of orthopedics, urology and diabetes & endocrinology. The hospital also ranked well in pulmonology, neurology, nephrology, neonatology, GI surgery, heart surgery and cancer treatment.

Rady Children's Hospital is a nonprofit hospital in San Diego, CA, and relies on the generous donations of the community.  The hospital doesn't need to depend entirely on contributions as nearly 80% of its income is from the health and healing services they provide to the public and from their financial investments.  This financial balance allows the hospital to provide superior care for their pediatric patients, continue teaching the physicians of tomorrow and continue conducting needed research in the field of pediatrics.
