LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Producer Gray Frederickson who earned an Academy Award for his work producing The Godfather Part II has joined another Academy-award winning producer, Gerald R. Molen (Schindler's List) as a producer on the upcoming film AMERICA which hits theaters on the Fourth of July 2014. The film follows on the heels of 2016: Obama's America which was released in 2012 and quickly became the #2 political documentary in history, grossing $34 million at the U.S. box office.
Frederickson is also known for his work on Apocalypse Now, for which he received an Academy Award nomination, as well as The Godfather, parts I, II & III.

"It's only fitting that this movie hits theaters on the Fourth of July because it will be a reminder of both why our nation has been great and how we can restore that greatness for the future.
