American Pool celebrates 30 years in the pool service industry

A company celebrates success with service expansion and growth

OWINGS MILLS, Md., Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Since its founding in 1984, American Pool Enterprises, Inc. has demonstrated its expertise in the commercial swimming pool industry. Today, it is the largest full-service pool service company in the United States and Canada that offers pool management, maintenance and construction services.

American Pool Enterprises is renowned for its skills in swimming pool management, lifeguard services, pool maintenance, pool construction, pool repair, pool renovation, and fountain construction. Annually, the company services more than 3,500 commercial pools across 24 wholly-owned subsidiaries. Additionally, the organization's recently updated website offers daily news, a full online magazine, a complete glossary of pool terms and a project gallery.

For its lifeguard services, American Pool Enterprises has created a one-of-a-kind lifeguard program through Guard For Life. This program supports lifeguard employees by focusing on safety and workplace confidence through training, skill assessments and career development. Guard For Life continues to grow by adding more employment opportunities each year.

In addition to lifeguard management, American Pool Enterprises completes a variety of pool construction projects every year, including spray pad installations, high-end pool renovations, new pool construction and strategic pool repairs.

"We are celebrating a great milestone for our company. It really has been an exciting 30 years. Right now, we are 24 companies strong and continuing to expand. Year-after-year, we have continued to develop our services and knowledge. Recently, we added playground design and installation to our menu of services. This is one example of our commitment to providing solutions that will benefit our customers," said Chief Executive Officer of American Pool Enterprises, Inc., Mitchell Friedlander.

"By collaborating with our wholly-owned subsidiaries we can offer a large variety of pool services to our clients. Normally, a property manager would need to work with several different pool companies to match our range of services. This anniversary is a testament to the quality of those services and our hardworking, knowledgeable staff that represent us by the pool and in the lifeguard chair," he added.

On this 30-year anniversary, the company seeks to continue its expansion efforts and bring a wide range of professional pool services to more regions in the United States.

"At the end of the day, we want to provide clients with the right solutions for their aquatic facility. And the right solutions often come from a combination of industry experience, a proven track record and a commitment to safety at all levels of service," said Friedlander.
