Quartet® Uses Glass to Redefine the Look of Dry-Erase

Introducing Infinity™ Glass Marker Boards

LAKE ZURICH, Ill., Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Whiteboards are a standard fixture in office conference rooms of all sizes, but it's hard to be inspired by something that looks so industrial. To meet the demands of users who place equal weight on both aesthetics and functionality, Quartet®, the world's largest provider of whiteboards, has created a line of stylish yet durable glass surface whiteboards: Infinity™ Glass Marker Boards.

With the Infinity Glass lineup, whiteboards are not only elegant but tough enough to handle the communication and collaboration demands of any busy office space. All glass boards resist the damage that typically comes with frequent use, and are backed by a 15 year warranty.

Infinity Glass Marker Boards

  • White and black colored glass boards are magnetic, frosted glass boards are non-magnetic
  • Extremely durable tempered glass will not stain or ghost and is scratch/dent resistant
  • Withstands heavy use and is extremely easy to clean
  • Comes in sizes that range from 18 inches x 24 inches up to 8 feet x 4 feet
  • 1-month calendar glass board is also available
  • 15 year warranty

Quartet wanted to embrace innovation and change the face of the category this year. "The Infinity Glass boards add a very modern and clean aesthetic to any office environment. Their look and durability along with being magnetic and incredibly easy to hang, makes them a perfect addition to our assortment," stated Lauren Rosenberg, Product Manager for Quartet.

Glass surface boards are available in three varieties to match your decor. Painted either white or black, magnetic glass boards offer dual functionality as a writing board and magnetic bulletin board. The white surface boards clearly display any color dry-erase marker and the black surface boards are perfect for use with Quartet neon, dry-erase or wet-erase markers, ideal for drawing attention and adding creativity to your work. A magnetic, 1-month white glass calendar board is also available. The non-magnetic glass boards feature a frosted finish. Each glass board (with the exception of the calendar board) can be hung horizontally or vertically to fit your space, with the exceptionally easy pass-through mounting system. Screws are inserted through the front of the board to allow more visibility, and covered with stylish corner caps to preserve the aesthetics.

The Infinity board series is just the beginning of many more good things to come from Quartet.

We all know the latest numbers: Gartner, Inc. forecasts that 6.4 billion connected things will be in use worldwide in 2016, up 30 percent from last year, and will reach 20.8 billion by 2020. We're rapidly approaching a data production of 40 zettabytes a day – more than we can every physically store, and exabytes and yottabytes are just around the corner. For many that’s a good sign, as data has been proven to equal money – IF it’s ingested, integrated, and analyzed fast enough. Without real-ti...

I wanted to gather all of my Internet of Things (IOT) blogs into a single blog (that I could later use with my University of San Francisco (USF) Big Data “MBA” course). However as I started to pull these blogs together, I realized that my IOT discussion lacked a vision; it lacked an end point towards which an organization could drive their IOT envisioning, proof of value, app dev, data engineering and data science efforts. And I think that the IOT end point is really quite simple…
As companies gain momentum, the need to maintain high quality products can outstrip their development team’s bandwidth for QA. Building out a large QA team (whether in-house or outsourced) can slow down development and significantly increases costs. This eBook takes QA profiles from 5 companies who successfully scaled up production without building a large QA team and includes: What to consider when choosing CI/CD tools How culture and communication can make or break implementation
Actian Corporation has announced the latest version of the Actian Vector in Hadoop (VectorH) database, generally available at the end of July. VectorH is based on the same query engine that powers Actian Vector, which recently doubled the TPC-H benchmark record for non-clustered systems at the 3000GB scale factor (see tpc.org/3323). The ability to easily ingest information from different data sources and rapidly develop queries to make better business decisions is becoming increasingly importan...
Redis is not only the fastest database, but it is the most popular among the new wave of databases running in containers. Redis speeds up just about every data interaction between your users or operational systems. A critical component of any IoT project is what to do with all the data being generated. This data needs to be captured, processed, structured, and stored in a way to facilitate different kinds of queries. Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle certain kinds of queries, but they are not always well suited to many problems, particularly when there is a need for real-time insights.
