PLS Presents Dealmakers(TM) Prospect and Property Expo in Dallas

Oil and Gas Expo This Thursday -- January 16 -- Focuses on Sales and Financing

DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 01/15/14 -- PLS Inc., one of the energy industry's leading information, marketing and advisory firms, today announced that its first DEALMAKERS™ Expo for 2014 is taking place this Thursday, January 16 in Dallas. It will feature, among others, prospect and acreage opportunities in the US' most active and productive regions like the Eagle Ford, Eaglebine, Marcellus, Mississippi Lime, Niobrara, Permian, Uinta, Utica and Wolfcamp. This power-packed, one-day oil and gas prospect and property expo starts with breakfast at 8:00 am at the Hilton Anatole, 2201 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas.

DEALMAKERS is open only to buyers, sellers and capital providers, making it the oil and gas industry's purest exchange for buying and selling prospects and properties while also funding development projects. The day-long oil show also provides ample time and opportunity for the oil, gas and financial communities to network with a noon luncheon and 3:00 pm cocktail reception.

Dallas DEALMAKERS kicks off a busy event year that will bring PLS back to Denver, Houston, Calgary and, next month, Midland, Texas. In Dallas tomorrow, the preliminary breakdown of properties and prospects is as follows (final breakdown numbers at expo time will be larger):

Midcontinent offerings on exhibit include 100% WI in a 25,000-acre North Texas prospect targeting Pennsylvanian/Mississippian objectives; an operated oil producing property in Caddo County, Oklahoma; and 100% WI in a 40,000-acre Kansas Mississippian leasehold with multi-pay potential.

Ahead of PLS's Midland Dealmakers on February 22, exhibitors in Dallas this Thursday will be showing Permian deals including a high-working-interest conventional producing property in southeast New Mexico; 100% WI in an 1,800-acre drilling opportunity in the western Midland Basin; and a non-operated producing stake in Crane County, Texas.

As always, the Gulf Coast region is amply represented at PLS's Dallas DEALMAKERS. This time, among the region's 21 deals being shown are a 100% stake in an Olmos waterflood project; a producing property with uphole potential in Karnes and Liberty Counties, Texas, a non-op development package targeting Yegua, Frio and Marginulina objectives; and a Wilcox producing asset across Bee, Goliad and Karnes Counties, Texas.

Exhibited Ark-La-Tex opportunities include a producing asset with over 50 million barrels of oil equivalent recoverable in the Eagle Ford and Woodbine; a large Fayetteville development opportunity in Pope Co., Arkansas; and a pipeline right-of-way in Angelina, Nacogdoches, Rusk and Shelby Counties, Texas.

Also on the market will be several Rockies opportunities including operated 100% WI each in 1) a 3,500-acre Bakken/Three Forks prospect in McKenzie County, North Dakota; 2) a 40,000-acre Bakken leasehold in Roosevelt & McCone Counties, Montana; and 3) a 42,000-acre package targeting the Cherokee, Marmaton and Atoka in Colorado's DJ Basin.
