CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Synergy Core, an IT infrastructure and Cloud Solutions company, announced today that the purchase of SDN Global has been completed. SDN Global is an industry leader in fixed and mobile broadband VSAT connectivity.
Larry Jones, remaining founder of SDN Global has been named CEO and is now co-owner of the Charlotte based satellite services company joined by co-owner James P. Burke of McKinney, TX.
The acquisition, which pairs the infrastructure and operations of SDN Global with the enterprise applications of Synergy Core, enables organizations to leverage multiple global satellite and terrestrial network delivery channels from a single provider, while also achieving the capabilities and efficiencies of cloud-based applications.

Transition of the Synergy Core server base into the SDN Global network data centers is nearly complete. We have completed implementation of our Unified Communications solution and are providing these services globally as part of the standard SDN product suite…" stated Jones.
SDN Global has a strong history of innovation in the technology industry providing private, worldwide broadband networks designed to implement a full range of connectivity and data continuity solutions for enterprise applications through the use of satellite technology.
Synergy Core is a privately held Charlotte, NC based company that was formed in 2010. Synergy Core provides IT infrastructure and a broad range of mobility applications and workforce automation.
