MCLEAN, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/16/14 -- Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) announced today that it plans to issue a new three-year USD Reference Notes® security, CUSIP number 3137EADT3, due on February 22, 2017. The issue will be priced on Friday, January 17, 2014, and will settle on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at benchmark size.
The new three-year Reference Notes security will be offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital, Goldman, Sachs & Co., and J.P. Morgan Chase. An application will be made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Additionally, the company also plans to launch a $1 billion reopening of its 1.75% seven-year USD Reference Notes security that matures on May 30, 2019. The issue will price today, Thursday, January 16, 2014, and will settle on Friday, January 17, 2014.
The $1 billion reopening of the 1.75% seven-year Reference Notes security will be conducted via an Internet-based auction. The issue, CUSIP 3137EADG1, is listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. After the reopening, the outstanding size of the 1.75% seven-year Reference Notes security will be $4.0 billion.
