NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC (RBA) announced today that Suzanne Crosby, Ph.D., has joined as the Director of Institutional Accounts, based in the New York, NY office. RBA is an investment firm founded by former Merrill Lynch Chief Investment Strategist Richard Bernstein and has approximately $2.3 billion of assets under management/advisement as of December 31, 2013. RBA manages portfolios geared toward global asset allocation, global equity allocation, income and promising undiscovered investment themes.
"Sue's expertise in consulting will be highly beneficial in conveying RBA's unique investment views and process with institutional investors. Sue is a wonderful addition to our team as we respond to growing investor demand for our products," said CEO and CIO Richard Bernstein.
Sue will report directly to John McCombe, President of RBA, who added "Our strong AUM growth the last several years has been primarily through financial advisors. With several of our strategies now eclipsing their three-year performance anniversary – a coveted milestone – it makes sense for us to offer our unique views and suite of asset allocation vehicles to institutions."

Sue Crosby was a Partner at Mercer Investment Consulting where she focused on growing the traditional advisory and outsourced CIO businesses within the non-profit client channel. Prior to that, she was a Partner at Perella Weinberg Agility, an outsourced CIO provider. Sue brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to RBA, which include roles at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, United Asset Management and Standard & Poor's. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University, and began her career as an assistant professor of economics at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.
