Available in red, black, navy and mint, the unisex bracelets - adorned with an arrow charm in antique gold finish - will retail for $5 CAD with 100% of net proceeds donated to Partners In Health, a non-profit organization whose groundbreaking HIV Equity Initiative in rural Haiti revolutionized the way the world approaches and funds diseases of the poor. "We have been committed to the fight against AIDS as far back as 1985, when few were willing to take a stand. It's a cause very close to our heart and today, more than ever, we continue our commitment to raising awareness and funds to help protect and educate people around the world. We've come a long way but the fight is not over yet," said Aldo Bensadoun, Founder and Executive Chairman of the ALDO Group. "This bracelet is an important symbol. It represents friendship and solidarity. It's an invitation to join together in the fight against AIDS."

"I always say my inspirations come from love and history," said Waris Ahluwalia, designer and CEO of Waris Loves You and House of Waris. "With these bracelets, it's about standing side by side with friends and loved ones for what's right and noble, and transforming history together. The arrow symbolizes truth, justice and movement forward, it's a powerful way to create change."

"At Partners In Health, we believe in the power of accompaniment - the commitment to be with our patients, to hear and learn from their voices, to respect their rights and attend to their needs," said Dr. Joia Mukherjee, Chief Medical Officer for Partners In Health. "That's what the #FriendsFight campaign is all about: friends supporting each other and joining forces in the fight against AIDS. We are proud to partner with ALDO because they were at the forefront in the fight against AIDS."

Partners In Health provides medical treatment, housing, water, food and psychosocial support to thousands of people living with HIV. By providing social and economic support, PIH address the root causes of poverty and disease, and not just the disease itself.

Businesses and business units of all sizes can benefit from cloud computing, but many don't want the cost, performance and security concerns of public cloud nor the complexity of building their own private clouds. Today, some cloud vendors are using artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify cloud deployment and management. In his session at 20th Cloud Expo, Ajay Gulati, Co-founder and CEO of ZeroStack, will discuss how AI can simplify cloud operations. He will cover the following topics: why clou...
The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to simplify and streamline our lives by automating routine tasks that distract us from our goals. This promise is based on the ubiquitous deployment of smart, connected devices that link everything from industrial control systems to automobiles to refrigerators. Unfortunately, comparatively few of the devices currently deployed have been developed with an eye toward security, and as the DDoS attacks of late October 2016 have demonstrated, this oversight can ...

Between 2005 and 2020, data volumes will grow by a factor of 300 – enough data to stack CDs from the earth to the moon 162 times. This has come to be known as the ‘big data’ phenomenon.
