Vestmark Recognized for Risk Management Solutions in Wealth Management

WAKEFIELD, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/17/14 -- Vestmark, a leading innovator of advisory solutions and wealth management technology, was named a finalist in the 2014 Family Wealth Report Awards Risk Management Solution category. The winners will be named at a gala dinner on March 13, 2014 at the Metropolitan Club, New York.

The Family Wealth Report Awards are built on the success of their established worldwide awards program, events business, and Family Wealth Report's unique position in the global wealth management market. The judging panel consists of specially convened experts drawn from private banks, trusted advisors, and expert third-party organizations.

Vestmark was named a finalist for the rules-based compliance and risk management system within its wealth management platform, VestmarkONE. VestmarkONE is a leading unified wealth management solution that enables broker-dealers, investment managers, RIAs, bank trusts, and other financial firms to deliver holistic wealth management and a full range of advisory solutions.

Vestmark's rules-based system allows firms to define firm-level, advisor-level, and investor-level compliance rules and investment policy factors. All rules are evaluated on a pre-trade basis to prevent unintended trades from occurring. VestmarkONE also performs continuous surveillance across all portfolios -- all rules are evaluated every night across all portfolios to assess compliance with all rules, as market conditions, security prices and attributes, or investor requests may impact the suitability of a portfolio.

VestmarkONE includes a series of alerts and graphical heatmaps to surface portfolios that require additional attention. This can be performed by the client-facing investment professional as well as a centralized oversight person or team. VestmarkONE also includes tools to efficiently take action to correct any problematic situations. This often includes trading, and VestmarkONE has a trade generation wizard to quickly generate, approve, and execute trades across thousands of customized portfolios.

The pre-trade compliance system of VestmarkONE coupled with the proactive, continuous post-trade monitoring has enabled Vestmark's client firms to mitigate firm and investor risk while helping investors achieve their investment goals and objectives.

"We are excited to have our company and platform recognized by the Family Wealth Report," said John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark. "Through our innovative platform, award-winning client support, and continuous dedication to our clients, Vestmark continues to grow rapidly and increase market share in the wealth management industry."
