Pure Romance, LLC Acquires Slumber Parties

America's Leading Direct Seller of Relationship Enhancement Products Expands Consultant Base

CINCINNATI, Jan. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- America's largest and fastest growing direct seller of intimacy products, Pure Romance, is now accelerating its growth and increasing its footprint with the acquisition of Slumber Parties and the 3,000 Consultants who are expected to join the company. This is one of many large steps the 100,000 consultant strong organization has taken since being started as a small business in the basement of founder Patty Brisben's home in Milford, Ohio 20 years ago.

This acquisition is a key component of Pure Romance's long-term growth strategy and enables the company to expand its network of Consultants and customers across the United States and Australia. Through its mission to empower women, Pure Romance has taken a lead role in what it calls the Pink Collar movement – women who are earning the income and providing for their families. In 2014, more than 4.8 million women will attend a Pure Romance party.

While Pure Romance is expanding its global network through this acquisition, the company still remains closely tied to its headquarters and home city of Cincinnati. The company has recently relocated its main offices to a new 30,000-square-foot location at the heart of downtown Cincinnati and is looking to add a number of jobs to support this fast growth track.

Over the past 5 years, Pure Romance has experienced significant growth and this acquisition will further expand the company's domestic footprint into key markets such as Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Houston, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Wichita, New York, Atlanta, and Norfolk.
