The Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards are presented to OEMs and brands that demonstrate a manufacturer's ability to retain owners over repeat buying cycles. Loyalty is determined when a household that owns a new vehicle returns to market and purchases or leases another new vehicle of the same model or make.

IHS Automotive tracks owner loyalty throughout the year and regularly works with its customers to effectively manage owner loyalty and conquest efforts through in-depth analysis of automotive shopping behaviors, related market influencers and development of retention and conquest strategies.  This year's awards are based on an analysis of more than 7.4 million new vehicle registrations during the 2013 model year.

"Hyundai owners truly love their cars, so it's no surprise that Veloster is being recognized in Polk's loyalty awards this year," said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. "With a unique third door and advanced technology features, the Veloster offers sporty coupe shoppers many reasons to remain loyal to our vehicles and the Hyundai brand."

In addition to having a unique three-door design, the 2013 Hyundai Veloster also debuted an all-new turbo model, with a new 1.6-liter, 201 horsepower, direct-injected twin-scroll turbocharged engine, aggressive body kit and unique 18-inch alloy wheels. Veloster is also equipped with Assurance Connected Care powered by the Hyundai's Blue Link® telematics platform. Assurance Connected Care is a suite of safety and car care features providing Hyundai owners with free proactive services including automatic collision notification, SOS emergency assistance, enhanced roadside assistance, monthly vehicle diagnostics reports and maintenance alerts.

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...
