Sertifi for Salesforce Allows delivery.com to Close Deals within 28 Minutes

delivery.com sought an easier way for merchants to join its ordering system that reaches nearly a million customers daily. The previous onboarding process was slow and labor-intensive, involving merchants physically signing applications in order to sign up. Upon receiving signed agreements, sales reps scanned the agreement and then manually uploaded it into Salesforce.

Our sales team is focused more on merchant service rather than start-up paperwork now, helping us close more sales,” said Mike Davis, Vice President of Sales, delivery.com. “It only takes 28 minutes on average to get an agreement signed now, which frees up 240 person-hours each month -- gaining us an extra 30 days of productivity for the business by simply streamlining paperwork.”

delivery.com also needed a mobile solution that integrates flawlessly into Salesforce so outside reps could capture in-person signatures on tablets and store signed agreements automatically.

delivery.com originally implemented another eSignature solution for client applications, which had multiple small set-up and integration fees that added up to larger monthly bills. These costly bills inspired delivery.com to seek out an eSignature solution with a simplified fee structure that eliminated piecemeal charges.

delivery.com switched to Sertifi for Salesforce for the following reasons:

  • Flexible and customizable Salesforce integration
  • Hands-on approach of personalizing the solution to fit business needs
  • No integration or support fees saving thousands of dollars
  • Inside reps can send, sign and track client applications directly within Salesforce
  • Outside reps can use a custom built wizard using Visualforce Pages to collect and store merchant signatures and data within Salesforce

With Sertifi for Salesforce, delivery.com gets agreements signed and stored faster at a lower cost.

The new signing process exemplifies the ease of doing business with delivery.com. Sales reps no longer deal with printing, scanning, and faxing. For merchant partners, the convenient onboarding process fits into their busy day. They can quickly sign up on a rep’s tablet and start growing their business right away!

The hard truth is that many IT managers have risen through the ranks based on their technical skills, not their leadership abi...

Web Real-Time Communication APIs have quickly revolutionized what browsers are capable of. All organizations that did not originate this moment have a pre-existing culture as well as legacy technology and processes that can be more or less amenable to DevOps implementation. That organizational culture is influenced by the personalities and management styles of Executive Management, the wider culture in which the organization is situated, and the personalities of key team members at all levels of the organization. This culture and entrenched interests usually throw a wrench in the work...
Keeping pace with advancements in software delivery processes and tooling is taxing even for the most proficient organizations. Point tools, platforms, open source and the increasing adoption of private and public cloud services requires strong engineering rigor - all in the face of developer demands to use the tools of choice. DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die.
