Free Website Launched to Help Businesses Cut Costs by 10%

While businesses tend to increase their sales to grow profits, how many are actually examining their unnecessary costs? And for those who really want to slash their costs, where do they start?

A new website, OperationCostCut.co.uk, gives free purchasing tips and advice to all businesses to help them drive better deals.

With insider tips for almost every conceivable overhead category, there is a valuable knowledge base for anyone with any responsibility at all for purchasing.

The website is the brainchild of Roger Green, founder and owner of £10m national office cleaning contractor, Spotless Commercial Cleaning Ltd. His experiences with dealing with a 5 office operation throughout the UK, led him to see the need for more joined up thinking with procurement.

Green says 'we were so busy focussing on sales and operations to drive profits, we were missing simple cost saving opportunities. Yet, with a few clever moves, we were able to add thousands of pounds profit to the bottom line, just by focussing on cutting unnecessary costs'.

Green maintains that his site can help businesses save up to 10% off their overheads. But it's not all 'slash and burn' - its real aim is to create great long term cost management.

The advice in each article focusses on old fashioned common sense, the costly pitfalls to avoid, and lastly, recommendations of companies who are deemed to give best value and service and the best price.

Green continues, 'the Digital Age is delivering newer, slicker companies that are changing the face of each and every industry. There are now cheaper and better ways of doing things in business. The site is supported by weekly emails, each with a single free insider tip. In time the site will generate revenue from referral commission, but Green is in no hurry.
