Yankee Candle Launches New Exotic Escape-Inspired Collection for Spring 2014

Five New Fragrances Offer Bright Colors and Tropical Touch for Home Decor

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Yankee Candle Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium scented candles, today announced the launch of five new Yankee Candle® fragrances inspired by exotic fruits, lush greenery and blooms and deep blue ocean home decor color. The new collection is available now at more than 500 Yankee Candle retail stores, www.yankeecandle.com and select specialty retailers and gift shops. In the spirit of the new line, Yankee Candle is launching an Exotic Escapes sweepstakes that will reward one lucky winner with a real-life tropical getaway of their own to Grand Cayman Island.

Yankee Candle introduces five new fragrances inspired by exotic fruits, deep blue ocean fragrances, and lush greenery and blooms

"All of our fragrances can evoke another time and place, and we wanted to highlight that characteristic with this new line," said Hope Margala Klein, executive vice president brand, design and innovation for The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. "With this collection launching when our customers need an escape from the winter doldrums, our Exotic Escape sweepstakes serves as an extra welcome treat."

Yankee Candle's Exotic Escape sweepstakes, launching January 21, 2014 and running through March 16, 2014, will reward one lucky grand prize winner with all the elements of a dream getaway: two round-trip tickets and hotel accommodations for five days and four nights on Grand Cayman Island, a cash prize of $2,000, and a $500 Yankee Candle gift certificate to continue the tropical memories long after the trip is over. Ten runners up will receive a large jar of each of the five new fragrances, and 100 additional winners will receive one large jar from the new line.
