VANCOUVER, Jan. 22, 2014 /CNW/ - Garmatex Technologies, Inc. ("Garmatex"), an industry disrupting developer and supplier of scientifically-engineered performance fabrics and apparel technologies, announces that it has been selected as the exclusive fabric supplier and design partner to Trail Makers, a new outerwear brand being launched by Makers USA, Inc. ("Makers").

Makers is a leading California-based lifestyle apparel company, founded and spearheaded by Sam Kim.   Mr. Kim has an illustrious background in the apparel industry.  He was one of the founders of American Apparel, the pioneering American street wear manufacturer and distributor.

Sam Kim commented:

"I have thought for years about filling the gap in the outerwear segment by launching an outerwear brand that combines the highest levels of technological innovation and performance with an affordable price point. When I learned about Garmatex's products and its solution-oriented approach to the performance apparel market, I knew I had finally located the partner I needed to bring the brand to fruition. I will work closely with Garmatex over the ensuing months to take Trail Makers to market at the start of 2015."
